PlantDew Privacy Policy

Overview

PlantDew is a local plant watering and care tracker. It helps you record plants, rooms, watering intervals, optional photos, watering history, reminder preferences, and CSV exports.

Data Stored On Your Device

PlantDew stores plant records, watering logs, reminder settings, onboarding state, demo state, and subscription entitlement state in Apple UserDefaults on your device. Optional plant photos are stored locally as part of your plant records.

Photos and Notifications

If you add a plant photo, PlantDew asks for photo library access through iOS. If you enable watering reminders, PlantDew asks for notification permission and schedules local notifications for plants you add.

Exports

If you choose to export data, PlantDew creates a CSV file locally and opens the iOS share sheet. You decide where to send or save that file.

Subscriptions

PlantDew uses Apple StoreKit for subscriptions. Purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple through your Apple ID.

Analytics and Tracking

PlantDew does not include third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking.
